Judith Bell, M.S. and Daniel Ellenberg, Ph.D. are the co-founders and co-directors of Relationships that Work, an organization dedicated to providing people with state-of-the-art communication skills that help create successful relationshipsboth at work and at home. They are committed to supporting people to live out their deepest values at home and work. They are the co-authors of Lovers for Life: Creating Lasting Passion, Trust, and True Partnership and have been a successfully married couple for the last 20 years (not without challenges).

They draw out the underlying concerns that stop people from thriving individually and in their relationships and families, and coach them to move through their blocks.

Daniel Ellenberg, Ph.D.
Daniel Ellenberg, Ph.D. has been leading groups and seminars for the past 20 years. His methods have helped hundreds of managers communicate more successfully with their staff. He has taught thousands of people interpersonal skills that have helped them become more responsible, effective team and/or family members. Daniel is professional speaker and a member of the National Speakers Association. He speaks at major conferences, businesses and universities and is known as an expert in the field of awareness and relationship skills. He had his own radio show and still delivers his powerful message across radio and television air waves. Daniel is the founder/director of Strength with Heart men's groups and seminars and has done extensive research on how the traditional male sex role impacts people's lives. Daniel's approach to corporate training leaves his audiences with the information and tools they need to begin building powerful, trusting relationships-immediately!
Judith Bell, M.S., M.F.T.
Judith Bell, M.S., M.F.T. is a master facilitator, teacher, consultant and coach. She has worked in the field of personal development since 1975, creating and facilitating personal growth, team development and organizational change seminars for 28 years. Judith developed High Potential Coaching TM based on her extensive experience in organizations—including government, non-profit and for profit—together with the same number of years as a personal growth coach, therapist and educator. Working with individuals, couples and groups, Judith is superb at supporting individuals, couples and teams in developing the skills necessary to realize their full potential. She draws out and articulates the underlying concerns of individuals that have stopped them from contributing more effectively to their relationships and/or organizations and coaches them to move through their blocks.
She was a Senior Associate and Consultant with BCon/WSA International, Inc, formerly Will Schutz Associates, from 1981 to 2004 where she contributed to the development of The Human Element® seminar. Her knowledge of and expertise in the FIRO theory is well respected around the world and she applies this theory to all aspects of her work.
A consultant's consultant, Judith mentors executives, managers, facilitators, coaches, therapists and other professionals in applying the FIRO theory to their work. Recently, she developed THE Next Step™, a follow-on to The Human Element® that focuses on skill development, application and implementation. Based on her expertise in the field of Creative Behavior, Judith developed FADE™ Coaching, a model designed specifically for managers and leaders in the workplace. Together with Gary Copeland, Judith developed a new instrument to measure customer service attitudes and the program, The Human Element in Customer Service, applying FIRO® technology to the customer service arena. This course is used in France, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Japan. Most recently, she developed a 3-day advanced course for consultants and leaders, The Theatre of Possibility: A Leader’s Guide to Creativity, Spontaneity and Confidence, which she successfully launched for the Swedish Human Element Network in 2003.
Since 1981, Judith has provided training, consultation and coaching for diverse organizations in manufacturing, high tech, government, recreation, health care and education including NASA, Procter & Gamble, AT&T, Amdahl Computers, Los Angeles County Schools, The Process Center, Rolling Hills Tennis Club, the U.S. Army, the Geselle Institute, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, San Antonio Water System, Basin Street Properties, Cegos, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Right Sinova, Seaflow, NOAA and Schwan’s University, Schwan’s Food Company, Beyers|Costin, and M Capital.
Previously, Judith was chair of a Masters Program in Psychology at Antioch University, San Francisco. For ten years, she developed and taught a wide variety of coursework and served as guest lecturer at many universities throughout the United States. She has also practiced as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1979.
